Can you replace ceiling tiles without a full strip-out?

Stained, damaged, or outdated ceiling tiles make entire offices feel tired — but a full strip-out is not always necessary.

Tile-only replacement

If the existing grid is straight, corrosion-free, and compatible with new tile dimensions, you can often replace tiles and perimeter trim only. This is the fastest, least disruptive option.

When you need more work

  • Bent or corroded grid sections
  • Changed lighting layout requiring new cut tiles and supports
  • Upgraded acoustic or fire performance requiring different tile weight
  • Asbestos-containing old tiles that must be remediated first

We assess existing ceilings on survey and recommend the leanest compliant solution — not an automatic full replacement.
